The only thing that moves the material being analysed is the air flow. This system makes it possible to do without any and all mechanical means of influencing the sieving process, e.g. tappers or brushes. Which means that at the same underpressure and sieving duration, exactly reproducible particle size analyses are possible at any time. The strong jet of air exiting the slotted nozzle effects a continuous cleaning of the sieve gauze. This leads to extremely short sieving times and ensures that even critical materials can be sieved. The plastic cover permits the sieving process to be monitored constantly.
